Welcome to my blog!!! I have been following numerous art education blogs for some period of time and often considered creating my own. It wasn't until the other day when one of my second grade students was concerned about his parents not being able to see his artwork until after the art show we will have later in the school year, that I really put this blog consideration into action. This blog will act as a "behind the scenes" look into the art room, showing the beginnings of our projects, progress on projects and finally a look at the final unique creation. I am excited about the opportunity that students will now have to show anyone anywhere their amazing artworks! I can't wait to take a few pictures of our current projects to show off!
Like you, I finally decided to start a blog of my own because I wanted an authentic audience for my students' work. I started my blog 'Dream Painters' in August this year, and have already found the wealth of experience and ideas out there to be a wonderful resource and source of inspiration. They couldn't believe that anyone, anywhere could possibly see their work. I can't wait to tell them that you have enjoyed their artworks. That will make their day!
